Entering the Library
All artists and A2CAF guests will need to enter the Library through the main entrance on Fifth Avenue both Saturday and Sunday. There is no access through the staff entrance on William Street. Artist Alley is located on the 1st floor.
Setup Times
Saturday 10:00 am (Artists Alley opens at 11:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm)
Artist Alley setup begins at 10:00 on Saturday morning when the library opens (you can arrive and do your setting up anytime in the 10:00-11:00 am window). Note that the 1st floor will be open to the public during Saturday setup because it includes library stacks that patrons may want to access. From the time Artists Alley closes at 6:00 until library closing at 8:00, library staff will be on the 1st floor to be certain that the Artists Alley tables remain secure.
The first floor will be closed and secure overnight.
Sunday 10:00 am (Artists Alley opens at 11:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm)
There will again be one hour between the time the library opens to the public and the opening of Artists Alley for the day. If you want to restock or reset your table, you'll have plenty of time. But you can also wait until 11:00 to show up: Library staff will be on the 1st floor immediately at opening to be certain that the Artists Alley tables remain secure.
Finding your table
AADL Staff will be on hand to guide you to your table, which will be clearly marked with a name card. We’ll have a limited amount of plastic sheeting to cover the tables we're renting and strongly urge you to supply your own tablecloth or covering. Tables are 6 feet wide and 30 inches deep. NOTE that there are no walls behind the tables to hang banners or promotional materials.
